Green Guide Overview

E-mail Print PDF

If you're new to this type of system, you'll find that the Washington Green Guide delivers sophisticated solutions to your online needs. This system provides a robust enterprise-level Web site, empowered by endless extensibility that is controllable by you- the visitor. Green Guides strives to provide the infrastructure but it is you the visitor taking control that decides the long-term content of the site.

How does that work?

First you must have an account on the system. It is totally free. Once you have signed up an account then you can participate site wide by commenting on the information. When you post a comment it will become part of the article or information and will also serve to spur dialogue amongst other users.

As an account holder you may also have the opportunity to participate in a deeper, more meaningful level by posting content to the site. Once you have established an account then you simply contact us if you would like to become an editor, an author, a writer or otherwise particiapte in posting content to the site. There are two methods to post content, you simply email the content to us and we post it, or we will give you specific editorial rights to our system that provides a method for you to easily post and update your content directly on the site by using a simple text editor. It's easy to do and it's fun too!

Remember- this site is designed as a portal with you in mind. It is up to you to take the power and make it what you want.
